Oxygen Supply:We will make arrangements for your oxygen traveling supplies guided
by the medical information provided by you and your physician. The additional cost
is for your supplies only, we do not charge a fee for making your oxygen travel arrangements.
Costs will be determined on an individual basis.
Pre-Cruise Overnights:We urge all of our travelers to take the extra night package
before your cruise so that we may all get to know each other and be sure everything
is ready for the big day.
Insurance:Travel protection insurance is extremely important as it protects you
not only if you have to cancel your vacation before you leave, but also if you become
ill while traveling. Our unique policy with Access America has high coverage limits,
especially with medical transportation. You may learn more by clicking here.
Respiratory Therapists:Our RTs will be along on each cruise to provide support
and encouragement. We will hold group meetings while on the cruise to discuss new
developments in respiratory care and equipment and share ideas. The RT's will be
present in a supportive sense but by law cannot perform treatments. If you need assistance
in your daily living, we highly recommend that you bring along a support person.
Emergency medical treatment is available by the cruise line medical staff.
Air Travel:Portable oxygen concentrators have greatly eased the burden of air travel
with oxygen. Our Respiratory therapists will advise you every step of the way in
obtaining the best flight and the best equipment suited for your needs.
Mobility Needs:You may bring your own wheelchair or scooter on board or arrangements
for rentals can be made.
